We invest thousands of hours into our careers, but almost none into being better men, husbands, and fathers. Fireside Fathers is designed for you to easily invest and take action in the ultimate role of your life.
Fireside Fathers is a unique experience designed to help you clarify and fortify for yourself how you want to operate and show up as a man in such a critical role in our society.

Surrounded by the spirit of the mighty bison and the Rocky Mountains, the design of Fireside Fathers is intended to yield greater clarity and confidence in our roles as dads, partners, and men. Through fireside discussions, wilderness skills development, a primal skills challenge, meditation and journaling, and hearty meals, you will be guided through a discovery and vision building process that will result in you taking on the coming years with relentless conviction and atop all of that you gain a brotherhood to support you.
Set on a bison ranch in northern Colorado, surrounded by wilderness and big skies, we’ll explore the path of fatherhood, share our stories and intentions, and forge a plan for the coming three years of life. That is an intentional time frame - close enough in proximity to be truly tangible and relevant, and far enough away to think big and boldly about. Our entire lives can transform in three years, and we can fortify our journey as fathers in great ways in a fairly short amount of time.

FOOD & LODGING:
All food and lodging provided. We will be feasting, so come hungry. We will be having fun, so come playful. We will be learning, so come curious. We will be charting a bold course, so bring the spark of a bold vision. And we will be fireside, so come with spring-time-in-the-rockies attire.
WHAT TO BRING:
Stories and a bold heart - Your personal stories and goals for your role as a father, and a desire for growth.
Outdoor clothes/footwear/small day pack - You’ll want clothes you can sit around a campfire during potentially chilly nights, clothes to go into the woods and hike around in, clothes to build a fort in, or throw a spear in. Clothes for a variety of weather, which means clothes you can layer. Bring gloves, a beanie, and having a proper winter jacket cannot hurt based on the time of year and temperature ranges. We are timing this retreat specifically so it’s likely warm in the mountains during the daytime and mild at night, but not far enough into the summer where fire bans may be in effect. Then again, we may have spring storms upon us. The retreat will happen regardless of weather. Bring a small day pack for daily excursions, etc.
Other stuff - Bring a book if you are a book person, bring an instrument, bring anything valuable to have with you as part of a unique workshop and growth experience, bring any special food, supplements, meds, etc. that you personally desire or need.
WATER - Refillable water bottle will be provided.
FIRST AID & EMERGENCY - We will have a proper emergency and first aid kit and a wilderness survivalist with us, and are ready to mitigate anything unexpected.
