Fireside Fathers is an annual retreat designed as a place to heal, grow, imagine, build, and forge.
The outcome of Fireside Fathers is greater clarity and confidence in our roles as dads, men, and partners. Through fireside discussions, wilderness skills development, a primal skills challenge, meditation and journaling, and hearty meals, you will be guided through a discovery and vision building process that will result in you taking on the coming years with relentless conviction and a brotherhood to support you.
About your Host
Dave Momper
Dave is a new father (with a son approaching 2 years old), husband to MacKenzie, and a leadership facilitator to executives, entrepreneurs, and sales pros. To explore what Dave considers the ultimate leadership role, he launched the podcast Whoa Dad! Go Dad! in 2024. The podcast then fueled the desire to have real-life, deeply meaningful, in-person, conversations with fellow fathers - in the wild - leading us to the Fireside Fathers retreat series launch.

Donny Dust
Donny is a survivalist, an author, a fiance, and a father to two young men. Donny’s forte - as a professional caveman - is unlocking the wisdom and power of nature, and helping others to incorporate both into one's operating style. He draws on his experience in the marines, his decades of experience studying primitive living, and a depth of experience teaching and advising on ancient ways of life.

Eagle’s Wing Ranch
The retreat location is in northern Colorado, nestled in north park in unincorporated Coalmont, surrounded by wilderness and adventure. This bison ranch is operated by Jim and Julie Beaupreu and gives us access to quite the setting for this one of a kind gathering.
